Pepper chewed over this information for a little while in silence. The Items being difficult to destroy did not surprise her, but she hadn't really considered their continued existence before beyond the Ring. With Bakura's death awaiting him in his world, Pepper hadn't given much thought to what came after. There hadn't been a reason to; it was something she tried very hard not to dwell on.

But knowing Bakura, he wouldn't let dying - again - stop him if it meant he could save his ghosts.

"Yeah," she said softly with a nod, understanding. "Of course. What are you thinking about doing? Getting things to show up from our worlds isn't exactly straightforward."

Presumably, he would not try going back to retrieve them, and she hoped that making deals was not high on his list of possible actions.
