That likely wasn't the best idea for Trahearne, though not because he was irresponsible. The issue was more that, while he certainly knew better than to start a fire near someone's house or store, he would never imagine that there could be laws against starting fires in empty lots or in the park. It was a good thing that burning designs into those bones sounded like a little too much trouble.
