Konoe has made a definite mistake too, and as he stared up at Trahearne with the bunch of feathers torn apart in his hands (and teeth). Never had he wanted to die and disappear more than in that one moment. Konoe couldn't even question why the person standing over him looked like he was being eaten alive by plants, he just felt his face getting redder as his tail and ears shrunk up against his body.

"I-I-" Konoe tried to say something, but for some reason he couldn't think of anything to say. Also he had to spit out a couple feathers. Konoe held the plant person's gaze for a couple more seconds before he decided to get out of the situation by bolting down the hallway.
