Shakin’ Shakin’ Shakes
Characters: Ilda, Valdis and Rutile
Date: early June, before the Talent Tourney starts
Location: somewhere in Aifaran
Situation: Valdis is Ilda's new idol, so she's following her around like a lovesick little puppy (even though she should really be hiding from the Ban Om priests after starting that riot last month). But accidents happen. Like bumping into people. Or, more accurately, toppling people over with your previously undiscovered Talent.
Warnings/Rating: Ilda causing people to stumble with little tremors, Rutile trying to poke Ilda with a scalpel - but nothing really violent! Will add should there be anything.
The riot was not something Ilda's proud of. As much as she didn't like their Church and the idea of gods in general, she didn't advocate violence, especially against people (and things) who'd done nothing wrong to you. And although nobody had been severely injured, there had been broken things, and maybe a couple of bruises and cuts when some of the random strangers got all hyped up with their smashing.
At least that's what she'd been told - it was a little hard for her to remember. She wasn't sure if she was actively blocking the memory away in her denial, or it was part of the effects of the darned space parasites.
But she could only stay cooped up for so long. Ilda was a free spirit. She did not belong in boring rooms, especially when there was an entire city out there full of magic and wonder that needed exploring! Where was the justice in that? She could feel the excitement in the air (and the humidity as well, but that was a minor inconvenience) with the Talent Tourney starting in a few days, and she wanted to be out there, in the thick of things! Seeing and meeting and talking to all those people, maybe even getting them to give Yato a job...
So that morning, Ban Om priests be damned, she was up and about in the city. For good measure, though, she wore the cute hat she'd bought with Pepper, hoping it would somehow conceal her face from whoever might recognize her from the riot.
