Aly's out and about, getting used to these shadows (too similar to things she's seen - very discomforting) when she sees one bothering a newcomer by trying to rip pages out of her book.

"Hey, you stop that," she says, glaring at the shadow. "Don't be rude, or I'll burn you from here to, to somewhere else." Then she looks at the shadow's source. "Sorry, these don't usually...happen."
