Oh, hells. Devin would probably be more amused by the Fool's earnest attempt to reclaim the wind chimes if physics didn't dictate that he would lose. They've had a hard enough time of getting to this point and he's not about to let an unruly bird make it worse.
Before the Fool can fall out the window, Devin is at the sill to be within reach - but what he takes hold of is the gyroshei. Its foot, specifically. "Watch the beak," he warns, and then the bird is braced only against air as Devin lifts its foot and shoves it backwards.
There is, predictably, a lot of frantic flapping of wings and squawking. He throws an arm out to steady the Fool in case both he and the gyroshei still refuse to let go.
