Trahearne regarded Devin with a faint frown, but there was something thoughtful in his bleary expression, too. Would someone come after him? It was a possibility, but not a sure one. After all, Trahearne had gotten away with secluding himself before. He wasn't an extremely social person as it was. Perhaps someone would seek him out, but he couldn't say it with the kind of certainty that Devin could.

"I'll consider it," Trahearne finally said, absently tucking the book he was holding under his arm. "For now, I ought to get some rest." He wasn't actually sure if that was the best idea after all, but he wouldn't be able to think through this problem while Devin was distracting him. Trahearne offered him a slight nod before turning to walk back to the entrance of the Dreaming Bridge, his pace a bit slower than usual.
