Pepper shoots an annoyed glare at Miles, though her smile sort of diminishes the effect. "Alright, come on then," she needles, gesturing for him to follow her towards the townhouse. Fortunately, it's not too far. She wouldn't want to take the Skyway covered in cake and a coach probably wouldn't be thrilled with her either.
"Man, I gotta figure out how to wash this stuff out. I don't know any tricks to deal with fondant," Pepper complains, trying to get more frosting out of her hair. "Speaking of cake, when's your birthday? So I know when to give you one with candles on it instead of just 'thank you for getting me out of a mess of sponge and buttercream and angry bakers'."
