Valdis rolled her eyes, she had spent quite a bit of time exploiting hierarchies for her own gain, this one was tough to crack as herself. Though she wasn't exactly trying to exploit the Sentry, so her past experience probably didn't matter. It didn't help that she wished to keep some past experiences to herself, such as running the Police force over five hundred years ago, she expected that wouldn't go over well with her superiors.
