With no school here to waste his time (he had learned that first grade was even more tedious the second time through), Conan had taken to spending most of his time either reading or wandering around Aifaran looking for trouble. Today he was on his way home from the bookstore with yet another pile of mystery novels to work his way through. He hadn't found anything here yet anywhere near as interesting as Holmes, but some of the writers had been decent.
On the way, he notices a store that for some reason has set out a rock in front of it. With googly eyes.
