There are plenty of dancers on the floor, and enough different styles for everyone to have a good time. A traditional Kedan dance picks up and Valdis happily joins in, knowing the steps to this one from long ago. There's laughing and twirling, moving from one partner to the next. A few of the other dances she has to watch for a bit before finding the steps, but her partners are happy to slow it down and show her a move or two. It's an over all friendly atmosphere. The music slips into something a little slower and she moves off to the side to catch her breath. The night is young, she doesn't need to stay on the floor all night. Besides, it's nice to watch all the glitter and costumes as they move around the floor.

"This brings back memories," she says to the person next to her.
