Where Valdis was concerned, not being alright could be simple or apocalyptic and anywhere in between. Deeper into the building, something metallic groaned loudly with strain.
"Then you shouldn't be here," he said, pragmatic. His voice was raised to be heard above the background noise. He took another step closer, as if readying to offer a hand. Sandpaper grated at the back of his mind. "Can you walk? And do be honest, please; I'd rather clear the building knowing you aren't trapped under a half a building and we don't have a lot of time."
