Valdis' words made little in the way of sense, other than cementing the fact that something had gone terribly wrong. He could make an educated guess: her senses had been turned up well past capacity, and she was overwhelmed. In a storm like this, the sensory input would be bad enough without the emotional component. Had she lost her grasp over her empathy? ...had she killed the kedan?
