The Sentry could provide information about the known producers, as well as contact information, so the team would be able to figure out who sold that particular bulk order. The trickier thing would be to then figure out who the suppliers sold to, as once the turpentine reached Aifaran the shopkeepers might not have such diligent records.

Additionally, since turpentine is flammable it needs to be transported carefully to ensure safety. Shipments into the port of this and similar substances are tracked, and ships in the Shuyul Bay or coming through Ewai Passage have tighter travel restrictions and landing locations. Losses or theft would be noted but not necessarily pursued, depending on the quantity.
