Pepper's brain seems to be operating in slow motion, but without the helmet it's starting to catch up. She stares at the offered hand for a moment or five and then up at the person it belongs to. Nita, she recognizes, and there's another slight delay before she actually reaches up, careful not to grip Nita's hand too tightly in her gauntlets.
