Friendliness offered earns friendliness in return. The Fool quirks a warm smile and unfolds himself from his seat at the window to stand and stretch; perhaps he'd been seated there, gazing out towards the city and the sea, for some time. "I would welcome the company, to be truthful," he replies, and comes towards the strange looking man to find a vacant seat near one of the lamps. This one looks more inviting anyway; more plush cushions, fewer hard angles. He settles into it, folding his legs beneath himself again.
"It's somewhat reassuring," he begins tiredly, pushing hair from his eyes, "to discover I'm not the only one here struggling with sleep."
