This could and clearly was turning into 'he-said-he-said', with Devin somehow unavoidably in the wrong - the fact that Klaus seems to assign even that much blame actually pisses him off more than Trahearne's actions. The sylvari had attacked because he's undead, because he's a vampire, something which by now Klaus must know Devin hates about himself.
Just like everyone else, whispers a nasty voice in his head.
"Are we done? Because clearly no one is interested in what the vampire has to say about this, so I see no point in arguing," he snaps.
