"I think it makes quite a bit of sense, actually. You've died once; you've endured that pain, and you haven't had all that long to address what happened to you, from the way you described it. Who knows how long that will even take?" He's not the right person to ask, for he buries things in the hopes they can't hurt him.

"The rest… doesn't, sometimes. Having someone else with you is as much about physical safety as mental, Fool. It's harder to intimidate a pair, especially when one of them isn't so close to the situation," he offers as reasoning. "And if all goes well, it won't even be necessary for that long."
