Ankh sits there for a while, watching Eiji. Thinking. Wondering exactly why he's so invested in keeping this idiot of a human alive... and human. After a while, he gives up on understanding it. He meant what he said, and he'll remind Eiji of it the next time they talk in case he didn't fully hear it in his half-consciousness.
For now, he's not planning on sticking around for however long it actually takes the idiot to wake up, so whenever he does, he'll be alone on the beach.
