November Catch All
Characters: Conan and Anyone
Date: Throughout November
Location: Various
Situation: Various
Warnings/Rating: Probably none
1. Wordsmith
Over the last month, a number of short articles had been submitted anonymously to a popular cryptid magazine. Thoroughly researched, they discuss the topic of potential cryptids with a kind of witty cynicism that had struck a chord with the magazine's audience.
The mystery of the author could be easily be solved by anyone paying attention to the small child sitting at an out of the way table in this cafe, as he pages through a stack of old newspapers and reference books.
2. Crime
By this point, Conan was extremely unimpressed by the kinds of petty crime that often showed up in the marketplace. Pickpockets, minor fraud, theft... He stopped it wherever he saw it, but it never seemed to end. With a annoyed twitch to his expression, he spots yet another crime about to happen.
3. Soccer
On some of the nicer days of the month Conan can be found out in some of the parks near the Dreaming Bridge. Some days he spends the afternoon kicking a soccerball around the fields, others he can be found practicing his trick shots up against a wall.

For Yuuko
Re: For Yuuko
Once there is a decent sized selection, no more than 6-8 large volumes, she glances at him. "This should have a relatively wide variety of the most well-known and likely culprits in... ah, situations where one might encounter spirits or the 'supernatural'." There is a slight flicker of distaste for that last word to her expression, but it is one he will probably understand and use more easily.
She glances at the books and snorts softly, with a bit of frustration at the ways of this place. "I wonder what the transaction for borrowing them is?"
She looks around until she locates a librarian, holds the books out, and after a murmured conversation and some note taking, finds herself able to leave, with books, when Conan is ready
