November Catch All
Characters: Conan and Anyone
Date: Throughout November
Location: Various
Situation: Various
Warnings/Rating: Probably none
1. Wordsmith
Over the last month, a number of short articles had been submitted anonymously to a popular cryptid magazine. Thoroughly researched, they discuss the topic of potential cryptids with a kind of witty cynicism that had struck a chord with the magazine's audience.
The mystery of the author could be easily be solved by anyone paying attention to the small child sitting at an out of the way table in this cafe, as he pages through a stack of old newspapers and reference books.
2. Crime
By this point, Conan was extremely unimpressed by the kinds of petty crime that often showed up in the marketplace. Pickpockets, minor fraud, theft... He stopped it wherever he saw it, but it never seemed to end. With a annoyed twitch to his expression, he spots yet another crime about to happen.
3. Soccer
On some of the nicer days of the month Conan can be found out in some of the parks near the Dreaming Bridge. Some days he spends the afternoon kicking a soccerball around the fields, others he can be found practicing his trick shots up against a wall.

no subject
It didn't take him long to realize he was being followed, but it's still a bit of a surprise when he turns and sees that his pursuer was a child. After a moment of staring down at him, Zohvin asks in a bemused tone, "Can I help you?"
no subject
"Why did you do that just now?"
no subject
Zohvin is a bit taken aback. He hadn't even stopped to think about why he had bothered to get involved this time, he had just done it, like he'd been flexing an old forgotten instinct.
"It was annoying to see someone pull a stunt like that right in front of me. Almost insulting, in fact."
no subject
"Why was it insulting?"
no subject
Belatedly realizing that he had no idea if this child was old enough to understand that concept, Zohvin sighed softly and clarified, "The thief wasn't very good. Not good enough to hide it from me, that made it annoying to watch. I suppose that's why I stepped in."
"You're quite the curious youngling, aren't you?"
