The atmosphere on the docks has been tense, thanks to the continued fiasco over smuggling that started last month. With the continued protests and harassment, stepping foot onto the docks as one of the Sentry practically guarantees that no one will be cooperative and you'll be lucky if no one's tried to graffiti the Sentry ships. The powder keg has been dampened, but there's plenty of workers that seem determined to not let this issue fade into the background.

It's a bigger problem for Bastien than he might realize. One of the ships currently docked, a well-made cargo ship, sports a simple figurehead of a bresilykian maiden clad only in the hair flowing from her shoulders. Right there in her hands is one of Caladbolg's shards, gleaming white against the warm wood and looking as though it had been deliberately placed there. It wouldn't be terribly hard to retrieve it should Bastien decide to board the ship, but the chances of him being a welcome guest are quite low.
