A. YATO ► Dreaming Bridge (Aifaran)

Around the Dreaming Bridge and other people, Yato's fairly upbeat, if a shameless mooch -- he can often be found swiping food from the cafeteria kitchen, and making full use of the fact that people don't always notice him to load up pockets with extra sweets. Other times, he can be found sitting on one of the Bridge's many public balconies, sometimes with a few bottles of what locally passes for beer. If approached during the latter, he'll grin and offer one to those of age. "Not sure what's in it, but it tastes pretty good."

B. YATO ► Singing Telegrams (Aifaran)

This kind of thing is right up Yato's alley, costumes and all. In fact, he's even gotten a side gig when he's not delivering the telegrams, to making costumes for others who are doing the same! The fact that he can sew an entire wardrobe by himself comes as a surprise to some, but before long he's gotten almost as many requests for clothes as he has for the telegrams - and it's oddly satisfying! If you're in need of something to wear for your next delivery, come and see him at the telegram office in a side room they've sectioned off just for this purpose, surrounded by piles of fabric.

C. YATO ► Sandbags (Aifaran)

When the call comes for volunteers to help fill the bags though, Yato sheds the goofy grins and flighty jokes, and puts his back into the work. This seems to be something that he's done before, and he takes orders when they're given to him... but then he also displays a perhaps surprising leadership capability in directing others when they need guidance. It's only when someone reminds him to take a break that he looks around and realizes how many hours it's been. "How's that saying go? Hard work makes the time fly, or something along those lines..."

D. BAKURA ► Response Unit (Aifaran)

Bakura is well-suited for this type of work, with his observational skills and additional functionality of Shadow magic at his disposal, though the former serves him better in this particularly instance. He dutifully reports to the Sentry when he finds things amiss (possibly one of the few times he's ever actually worked with any of them) but isn't shy on calling them out when they seem to be moving too slowly or focusing on the wrong things. For the most part however, it's a relatively frictionless exchange.

E. BAKURA ► New Job (Aifaran; Hianla Qi; Kaiare)

Those who venture outside Aifaran this month may note Bakura also in Hianla Qi and Kaiare - arriving rather empty handed, and leaving with several large bags from each. A few Earth-based Dreamfolk compare him to a grumpy Santa Claus because of the visual, which he tolerates if only because he's just that pleased with his new job: repossession. Sanctioned theft, in essence. No wonder he's in a good mood this month.

Ever since she had worn a kimono at the Hallowwen Ball, Sheena had wanted another one. Unfortunately, that particular seamstress had retired shortly thereafter, leaving the ninja to search for a new one.

And failing each time.

She had heard about the costumes being made here, and considering that she had tried everywhere else, decided to give this place a go. And if that didn't work, she'd just have to start making them herself.

Martel forbid.

Entering the place, she stops dead in her tracks when she sees who's making the costumes.

"Yato?!"

"Sheena! Come on in, are you here for a costume? You're in luck, I just finished my last order!"

He gestures magnanimously at the seat across from him, obviously basking in the whole feeling of having his work wanted.

Still in shock, Sheena moves forward slowly. "Well, sort of. I'm looking for someone who can make kimonos." Shaking her head, she moves on quickly, her surprise still evident.

"How long have you been doing this?"

"Kimonos!" Yato's very obviously pleased by the request. "I can make you any kind you want, Japanese clothing is a specialty obviously. What were you thinking?"

He doesn't seem to mind her shock, too gleeful to notice. "Two weeks now, and it's been going great! I made Ilda's dress for the party but I never thought there'd be more people actually interested in this sort of thing. I'm getting requests, how awesome is that?"

Sheena nods. "I know. There was only one person before who would make them, and she retired after making the one I wore for Halloween." Her tone becomes wry. "I hope I had nothing to do with that."

His smile makes her smile, and a sudden realization hits her. "You're getting requests from people? You mean, like wishes?" Her grin widens. "I think that's great, Yato."

"I'm sure you didn't," Yato replied immediately, giving her a grin. "But in any case, I can't say I'm too upset about it, if it means that you're here instead of getting one from her!"

"Wishes!" he echoes jubilantly. "And they're easy to fill, too! Well, time-consuming, but worthwhile... who'd have thought of all the things that would finally stick in people's minds, clothing was going to be it?"

"You never know," the ninja said with some humor. "I mean, the timing..." It was obvious she didn't believe her own words, but couldn't resist making the joke. She chuckled and gave him a mock serious look. "You're happy now, but you haven't heard what I wanted, yet."

Sheena couldn't help the pleased chuckle that escaped her. "I'm glad you found something that both you and others like, Yato! I know you've been trying for a long time." A beat. "I bet Ilda is overjoyed."

"That's true too," he answered, shaking a teasing finger at her and playing along with the joke. "And yeah, she's really happy for me."

Then he rocked back on his heels and took out a fresh sheet of draft paper, placing it on the table between them.

"All right! So what did you have in mind?"
