Characters: Judai and YOU
Date: Feb 16-21
Location: around Aifaran
Situation: trying out his Talent, trying to get his yimo fixed, getting ambushed
Warnings/Rating: n/a
A. just call him the hairdo-ruiner (meta 2)
[Why hello, someone who's passing by this terrace. You may suddenly feel the wind picking up once you get within a certain distance of this kid leaning against the chest-high fence. The wind seems to be circling him, in fact, while he stares speculatively at his palm.]
Heh... This doesn't suit me at all.
[He turns around to see a couple of Aifarans fast-walking away from him. ...Whoops.]
B. now how will he consume cat pictures (sci-tech 2)
[He doesn't know why, how, or when, but for some reason or other his yimo handset has been acting up, has been from practically the moment he got it, but no one he's talked to seems to know what's wrong.]
[So it isn't exactly a surprise that the next time he tries to get it fixed, he spots technicians ducking down behind their terminals or running behind the nearest wall.]
Ah...this sucks... [He shakes his yimo, like that'll help.]
C. mirage of nightmare (faith 5)
[He was ambushed. There he was, minding his own business, when several someones come running up to him, insisting he lead one of their functions. Inspire it, they say. Lead by example, they say.]
[—And suddenly he looks very uncomfortable. Halp?]

[He doesn't know the term "Tu Vishan," but hearing the Dreaming being referred to like that finally makes it...sensical to him that they're called Dreamfolk.] I hope I'm not really dreaming. I'd be really hungry when I wake up!
It's not the first time I've been to a different world. [Those worlds...had been much more dire for him than this one seems to be.] Don't know how I got here, though. How'd it happen for you, did you just appear at the old turtle?

Pretty much. Well, I sort of crash-landed - the time I got pulled from was in the middle of a mega big battle back home. [Her smile dims a little at that. Things are still a mess back home.] It seems to just... happen, which isn't really helpful. No one seems to be able to explain it, since the person who got this all started has been dead for a reeeeally long time.
What other worlds have you been to?

[The mention of the other worlds doesn't exactly help, either, so he turns a bit to the side to peer at...something in the distance.]
A desert world and a dark world... This one is way better, though. I had to crash-land when I finally got to go home. [Well, he returned to school, really, but it'd been his home for years by that point.] Time had passed there, though! I wonder if there's a way to return past the time we left...
[Since he'd heard that they returned to the moment they left. But if Dreamfolk really are dreaming, that...would be kind of bad if she fell asleep in the middle of a battle??] Uh, it wasn't a literal battle, was it?
