Padparadscha is certainly person-shaped, at least, and they also withdraw their hand once he turns around, so it's clear they can move. Their hair, despite looking like it should be crystalline, also moves relatively like normal hair, so that's another point in favour of a person.

They watch him carefully as well to make sure he doesn't bump his head - they don't know much about human bone, but they're fairly sure they're quite a bit harder.
