Situation: A large influx of Dreamfolk arrive in time for one of the Lunar Festivals, and they're all invited!

A surprising amount of Dreamfolk have arrived within a short time frame - a peculiarity remarked upon by a number of Aifaran's residents. It is unusual in that it coincides with a lunar festival, one which only happens every fifty or so years.

Newcomers will find the streets packed with all sorts of people, stalls of fried and sugared foods, carnivalesque games and rides, and all other manner of things to do. Merchants are very keen to get their wares out there, and the stipend given may just burn a hole in your pocket when you see what's for sale.

[He doesn't mean to loom, but there are dome things that can't be helped when you're a brick wall on legs.]

Good heavens. Is there a problem with the room?

[His tone is good natured enough, even if he looks like someone who eats broken glass for breakfast every morning. He peers inside, and then checks the room number again, just to make sure he's not mistaken.]

Someone's put two beds inside.

[ It's also small. But she could live with that, for temporary lodgings.

Still, she looks up, and back, and - ah, good. He looks capable of moving the bed. ]

Er - that's rather how these sorts of lodgings work.

[He considered for a moment his conversation with the clerk]

I was told there would be another occupant. You must be her.

[He bowed, straightbacked and with all the dignity befitting his blue-blooded upbringing.]

I am Klaus Von Reinherz. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.

[ The bow is good, she decides, picking up the mug of tea she'd taken from the cafeteria and sipping it. As suits a -

[Klaus stood upright, giving a nod.]

It seems one room for three occupants rather like a dormitory.


[Exactly like a dormitory in fact.]

I've not yet met the other. Goodness, this brings me back to my boarding school days.

[ A crash may interrupt Klaus's reverie: Hibiki has just dropped, and therefore broken, her teacup.

Her fingers are still twitching. And she looks completely dumbfounded. ]

They've assigned me to room with TWO STRANGERS?!

"Er..."

[Klaus raised his hands up in a pacifying gesture.]

"...It would seem so."

[Still, the situation was far from ideal. Co-ed dorms were nothing new - he'd had them in university and it all worked out.]

"Will this be a problem?"

A lack of control over my environment is not my style.

[ She all but pronounces it with a capital "S".

But it seems that screaming isn't going to fix this problem. Hibiki heaves a sigh. ] Well, it's easily fixed. Simply obtain alternate lodgings expediently and the situation may yet be salvaged.

[ ....and yet. She can't. Stomach the inconvenience. ] Even if it's ruined my afternoon.
