Situation: A large influx of Dreamfolk arrive in time for one of the Lunar Festivals, and they're all invited!

A surprising amount of Dreamfolk have arrived within a short time frame - a peculiarity remarked upon by a number of Aifaran's residents. It is unusual in that it coincides with a lunar festival, one which only happens every fifty or so years.

Newcomers will find the streets packed with all sorts of people, stalls of fried and sugared foods, carnivalesque games and rides, and all other manner of things to do. Merchants are very keen to get their wares out there, and the stipend given may just burn a hole in your pocket when you see what's for sale.

That whole Yelp talk leaves him utterly confused, which does nothing for the scowly face, but at least it has him stumped enough that he doesn't immediately go back to grumbling. Then there's that talk of a job and...

Well, he deflates visibly, broad shoulders slumping and all.

"I will have to look into a job," he says, which means, no, he hasn't yet. His first job in Keeliai had been tea house waiter but he's not very keen to return to the service industry. "I don't suppose credentials from Keeliai will mean much more."

But he might be desperate enough to try and go back into healing anyway. It's slightly less humiliating than serving tea.

"Yeah, having to work for a living is the worst," Tony says cheerfully, and it's not clear if he's being sarcastic or not. He dumps his backpack onto the floor – it hits with a thud that suggests it's heavier than it looks – and flops onto the one remaining unclaimed bed.

"What are you credentials? Besides bird-whispering and fashion-forward layering. What'd you do in Keeliai?"

Kylo takes it as sarcasm, as the bristling gives away, but before he has a chance to take proper offense Tony's next words leave him utterly confused.

"Bird-whispering?" he repeats, brows knitted in annoyance. "What are you talking about? I've never dealt with birds!"

Little does he know he has been brought to this place as a pet necromancer

"You know what I mean," Tony says dismissively, and wiggles his fingers in a 'woo-woo magic' gesture. "The Force. Sense the universe, choke out your enemies, move small objects and annoy the local wildlife with your mind, all that." See, Kylo? He's an expert. "Anyway, they don't have a Jedi Council here, so you might have a hard time making a career out of space magic."
