Situation: A large influx of Dreamfolk arrive in time for one of the Lunar Festivals, and they're all invited!

A surprising amount of Dreamfolk have arrived within a short time frame - a peculiarity remarked upon by a number of Aifaran's residents. It is unusual in that it coincides with a lunar festival, one which only happens every fifty or so years.

Newcomers will find the streets packed with all sorts of people, stalls of fried and sugared foods, carnivalesque games and rides, and all other manner of things to do. Merchants are very keen to get their wares out there, and the stipend given may just burn a hole in your pocket when you see what's for sale.

That matched with Conan's experiences so far. It did improve his opinion of the situation.

"Is this really the place for that kind of conversation?" Surrounded as they were by loud and excited children."

"Not particularly. " Kaito admits with a slight sigh as the detective's new friend 'Cheeps' again and he can't help but smile. Despite being a little bizarre looking, it's really kind of cute.

"I think your new friend wants your attention." He points out. "Any suggestions as to where we can continue our conversation?"

"I saw a park nearby that looked empty enough." Conan flags down one of the attendants and passes the bibiru back with an hastily formed excuse about needing to go home.

"Too bad, I think it really liked you." Kid stands up to his normal height and takes a step back to allow the detective to lead the way.

"It's a bibiru. It likes everyone."

He starts walking briskly, aiming for a walkway visible just beyond the crowd.

Kaito doesn't see what has the little detective in such a rush. It wasn't as if anyone was going to force him to stay in the petting zoo, and even if they tried than Kid could easily talk both their way out.

However, he knows better than to point it out-he's worked with Kudo on numerous occasions before and he's well aware that he likes to be the one in control. It wasn't really too much trouble for Kaito to go along with it, just as long as he always had an escape route by the end.

For his part, Conan just wanted to get this over with. It had been a long day already, and he had no intention of making it any longer. After two blocks he turns off into a mostly deserted park.

Kaito glances around at the open setting. It leaves much to be desired as far as viable hiding spots go but he supposes that's exactly why the Detective picked it. No matter, he can work out some other means of escape should he have to.

"It figures you'd go for a park. I take it there are no convenient museum rooftops?

"I haven't mapped out all the differences between this city and Keeliai yet. For now, this is more convenient."
